I think that the book was not that exiting at the begening. It got better towered the end. I would never request it though. It was not what I thought it would be
I totally disagree with S.M. and C.J. it was an awesome friendship story and it proves that even when a close friend dies you can still talk to them the only difference is ther in heaven and your on earth. If I could rate it between 1-10 I would say 10
I agree with A.W. about two things. First one is that I totally dont agree with S.M. and C.J. and the second one is that i would rate it 10 too. I hope that the boy will keep being with Jamie and Jamie will be happy in heaven. I thought it was the best book i have ever read. (unlike S.M. and C.J.)
I think it was ok.It was pretty emotional,the writer described it good though.it got pretty boring as what SM said.But I would rate it between 1-10 I would rate it a 8.
I thought the book was very good, because in this book the main charactor died in the middle and that doesn't really happen alot,and I also liked the way the auther showed the boy's feelings by saying stuff like " I felt ashamed because Jamies dead and kids are playing games and haveing fun." On a scale from 1-10 I woud rate this book a 8 because in the begining the book was boring, in the middle I liked the way the auther made Jamie die because that doesn't happen too often, and the end was good because the boy realized that he could have fun without hurting Jamies feelings.
I thought the book was good. I didn't like though how they had Jamie die right in the beginning. I think they should of waited tell the end for himm to die.
Soujabunny here - I think it was a very good book. It was kind of like 'Where the Red Fern Grows' becuase you weren't expecting his dogs to die and in this book you weren't expecting the boys best friend to die. I would tell my friends to read it. (B.K.-guess what?..my Mom types for me so I can say whatever I want! hahaha)
I liked the book because it was the only book that had the main character die.
